The 2020 $500 Pure Gold Diamond Shaped Coin:
Forevermark © Diamond
Introducing the world’s very first pure gold diamond shaped coin, the 2020 $500 Pure Gold Diamond Shaped Coin: Forevermark © Diamond.
This unusually beautiful coin was born out of the collaboration of Crossworks Manufacturing and Forevermark © Diamonds. This impeccable design displays the finest Canadian craftsmanship, which took more than an entire year to create. The coin showcases a real diamond, set upon the gold diamond and pays tribute to the sparkle and brilliance of the Canadian diamond which has been cut with extreme symmetry, accuracy and detail. The actual 0.2 carat Forevermark © Diamond is embedded within one of the coin’s many angles, and is the inspiration for the coin's shape and design.
This is a 99.99% pure gold coin struck with a matte proof finish.
The coin is an amplification of the actual shape of the diamond that sits within it. Designers and craftsmanship had to ensure that they were creating the absolute right shape with accurate angles, size and aesthetics, which proved to be a large task.
Each step of the process from striking the coin to shipping it out underwent extreme testing to ensure a high level of refinement and luxury, keeping in the tone of diamonds and gold.
The coin design includes the year “2020”, the word “Canada” and the value “$500”. In the centre of the coin is the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, by Susanna Blunt.
With a rare mintage of only 99 coins, this is a unique option for any collector
