Fender® 75th Anniversary Stratocaster® Guitar 1oz Silver Coin

Music lovers will not want to miss out on this 1 oz Silver Colorised Stratocaster Proof. The coin is one of two in PAMP Suisse’s 75th Anniversary Series. The Stratocaster was designed from 1952-1954 and has been used by a long list of performers, including Jimi Hendrix, David Gilmour, and Buddy Holly. Obverse: The coin’s obverse is filled by a field pattern of circles. Its design is Ian Rank-Broadley’s famous right-side portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Her name, “ELIZABETH II,” the name of the issuing country, “SOLOMON ISLANDS,” and the face value of the coin, “2 DOLLARS,” extend into the neck of the guitar, while the date, “2021,” and serial number are included in the body. Reverse: The reverse features a highly detailed colorised “strat” design. The guitar’s body is an obsidian-like colour, which contrasts beautifully with a white pick guard. Fender’s 75th anniversary logo features prominently in the bottom left, while the coin’s weight and purity, “1 OZ 999.9 AG,” are noted at the top of the pick guard. This coin is $2 legal tender in the Solomon Islands.
