Something rather unexpected is popping up on Cape Town's streets.

In fact, there are 15 of them, bringing a cheerful splash of colour to everything from the V&A Waterfront and Atlantic Seaboard to the City Bowl, Century City and Southern Suburbs.

The Scoin Shop has taken its Cape Floral Kingdom campaign onto the streets, transforming a fleet of rideshare vehicles into moving celebrations of one of South Africa's greatest natural treasures.
The inspiration? The spectacular Cape Floral Kingdom, home to extraordinary biodiversity, iconic proteas, and thousands of plant species found nowhere else on Earth.
It's the smallest of the world's six floral kingdoms, but what it lacks in size, it more than makes up for in botanical brilliance.
And now, a little of that brilliance is travelling through Cape Town on four wheels!
From Cape Town's flowers to French artistry
The pink cars are celebrating the launch of the 2026 UNESCO World Heritage Series: Table Mountain & the Cape Floral Region, a collection of gold and silver collectable coins created by France's historic Monnaie de Paris.
Inspired by Table Mountain and the remarkable biodiversity of the Cape Floral Region, the collection captures a little of the Cape's natural magic in precious metal.
The coins are available exclusively in South Africa through The South African Gold Coin Exchange and The Scoin Shop.
But while the coins themselves are special collectables, the colourful celebration on Cape Town's streets is something everyone can enjoy.
After all, you don't have to be a coin collector to appreciate a bright pink car covered in flowers!

The campaign was brought to life in partnership with Eazy Ads, a South African company specialising in advertising on rideshare vehicles.
Unlike traditional billboards, these colourful cars are constantly on the move, becoming part of Cape Town's everyday scenery.
One moment they're navigating city traffic. The next they're cruising past some of the Mother City's most recognisable landmarks.
And against a backdrop as spectacular as Table Mountain, their vivid pink floral designs add a playful new twist to Cape Town's already colourful personality.
It's a creative way to celebrate a natural treasure that belongs not only to Cape Town, but to the world.
